Today I thought I would explore a little more “open design thinking” with the common car as the example.
So … basically a car is rectangular box, with a nose, an engine, and four wheels ….
Four wheels? _ why not look at 3 … 2 … or 1 – a gyroscopic uni-wheel – Segway meets Mini and has children ……….. or perhaps your car should have zero wheels? – a ground hugging hover pod?
There is merit in asking and seeking silly questions. Naive, ill-informed, and ignorant questions are almost better! At the very least you may arrive at a deeper understanding of the present solutions, and from time to time you could stumble upon an idea which which should be explored. At the very least it is fun to wonder …. now commerical reality is another beast …
